Who we are
The Focused Leadership Consulting and Training team is lead by Founder Dr. Karen Shackleford Allen. With over 30 years as an IT professional, Karen is a certified project manager and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management, a Master of Arts in Public and Private Management, and a PhD in Business Management with a specialization in Leadership.
The team comes equipped with professional experience in strategic planning for setting and reaching long-term goals, growth planning, and strengthening daily operations; as well as leadership, college level classroom instruction and on the job team training, We have over 30 years of IT project management, investments, treasury management, credit union management, commercial banking, team training, and organizational operations experience.
Under Karen’s leadership the Focused Leadership Consulting and Training team provides tailored leadership packages focused on meeting the needs of your organization.
Our Approach
Our approach is two-fold. First, as a strategic business partner, we seek to align your organization’s business strategy with the leadership consulting plan developed to ensure the plan meets your needs. Second, we desire to develop leaders using virtual or in-person training, practical application, and coaching.
